L. Maria Vergara, President of NAHREP Consulting Services, has been named as Board Member of The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis is a nonprofit organization founded in 1920, and provides access to postsecondary education to members of our community who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals.
“I consider it a tremendous honor to serve as a board member of The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. I look forward to providing my insight and expertise from a multicultural perspective to the foundation,” said Vergara. “I’m passionate about working together to develop solutions that impact our community and help deserving students go on to a post-secondary education.”
As a board member, Vergara will advise the foundation on a broad range of issues/topics and emerging market trends. Vergara brings over 20 years of financial experience to the board, which includes her current role as President of NAHREP Consulting Services, a multicultural strategy and marketing firm specializing in the Latino market.
Ms. Vergara’s role as Board Member begins in June.
